Flavored textured vegetable protein chunks, about 1/2 an inch across and dark in color. May be used in dishes that require Lamb or other red meat. This product retains shape and texture during cooking. Recommended for use in savory stews, curries, and other dishes.
Ingredients: Soy flour, salt, natural flavorings (hydrolyzed wheat gluten, maltodextrin, hydrolyzed corn gluten, hydrolyzed soy protein, autolyzed yeast extract, malt extract, monosodium glutamate, citric acid), spices (black pepper, onion, garlic powder), caramel color, zinc oxide, niacinamide, ferrous sulphate, copper gluconate, vitamin A palmitate, calcium pantothenate, thiamine mononitrate (B1), pydroxine hydrochloride (B6), riboflavin (B2), cyancobalamin (B12)
Directions: Soak 1 cup of chunks in 1.5 cups of warm water for about 17 minutes, or until soft. Drain excess water and add to your recipe.
