Flavored textured vegetable protein chunks, about 1/2 an inch across and dark in color. May be used in dishes that require Lamb or other red meat. This product retains shape and texture during cooking. Recommended for use in savory stews, curries, and other dishes.
Ingredients: Textured vegetable protein (soy flour, caramel color, hydrolyzed soy protein, salt, zinc oxide, niacinamide (B3), ferrous sulfate, copper gluconate, Vitamin A palmitate, calcium pantothenate, thiamine mononitrate (B1), pyridoxine hydrochloride (B6), riboflavin (B2), cyanocobalamin (B12).
Directions: Soak 1 cup of chunks in 1.5 cups of warm water for about 30 minutes, or until soft. Drain excess water and add to your recipe.
